Kiwanis Youth Outdoors Day and Bird City Celebration

Join the Wisconsin Rapids Kiwanis Club and Bird City Wisconsin on Saturday June 7th for a fun-filled day at their 8th annual Kiwanis Youth Outdoors Day. IMG_8355

This event is free to attend and runs from 9 to 3 in Wisconsin Rapids at Lake Wazeecha’s Red Sands Beach park.

With over 25 hands-on outdoor activities ranging from: canoeing, archery, rock climbing, fishing, and clay pigeon shooting, to birding, kids crafts, baseball, compass reading and kite flying there’s something for the whole family.

A free lunch will be provided as well as a free prize drawing.

Bird City Wisconsin is joining us this year to provide additional activities specific to birding.

Join us for our annual Easter Egg hunts.

The Easter Egg Hunts begin at 10:00 sharp, please come 10-15 minutes early to find your age specific area. The event is limited to children of the following age groups: Under 5, 5-7, and 8-10.

PLEASE NOTE: The event locations have changed to the Centralia Center & Lincoln High School parking lots due to the snow conditions still affecting our area in early April.

Bring swimwear or change of clothes if you would like to try a canoe capsize and recovery or waterskiing (dependent on availability).

Would your family like to learn to waterski?
We have 16 time slots. If you are interested email us at events@wrkiwanis.org. On the Wednesday prior to the event we’ll email the 16 families randomly selected.
