On November 5th we hosted Farm/City Night at our Kiwanis Lodge. This annual event was established to recognize and celebrate our local farmers.
This year 150 invitations where mailed in early October. In all 73 people were served roast beef and pork, mashed potatoes & gravy, green been cassrole, dinner roles, coleslaw, pickles and a cranberry desert.
The attendees took great interest in the biofuels presentation by Dr. John Anderson from Mid-State Technical College and asked many questions after the meal was finished.
