Location and Schedule

• Wood County South Park – Lake Wazeecha – New Red Sands Beach Pavilion
• Outdoor Activities Stations: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Safety Course: no longer required for air-rifles and archery. Replaced by 10 minute refresher at shooting range.
• Lunch served: 11:45 am – 1:00 pm

Mission

Today’s children are spending less time outdoors and interacting with the natural world, 20% less time.We feel it is important to encourage families to be active and set a foundation for our children to establish a healthy lifestyle.Lastly, today’s children will charged with caring for our natural resources, national parks, waterways & animals. Through this program we hope to introduce families to activities which will them closer to nature.

Activities subject to change based on volunteer availability

Bring swimwear or change of clothes if you would like to try: canoe capsize and recovery or waterskiing (dependent on availability).
