Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
By servicing the children of the world, Kiwanis clubs worldwide are empowering children to change the world.
We want to ensure that all children have the opportunity to live healthy, successful lives. We believe by helping one child, you help the world.
A couple area service projects include annual Easter Egg hunts at Mead and Witter Field, Kiwanis Invitational Track Meet, Coats for Kids, NFL Punt, Pass & Kick, and the Just Friend Dinner.
Our local Wisconsin Rapids club sponsors a Kiwanis Key Club at both Lincoln Senior High School and Assumption Senior High School. Key Club is the oldest Kiwanis sponsored youth program. Since it's inception in 1925 more than 2 million youth have enlisted in Key Club, including many later leaders in government, business, entertainment and sports, from US President Bill Clinton to Elvis Presley.
You to can make a difference in an area youth's life. Want to learn more about your local Kiwanis Club? Feel free to attend a meeting, or contact a member.
