Coats For Kids
Overview

The Kiwanis Club of Wisconsin Rapids would like to take this opportunity to thank the Greater Wisconsin Rapids area for all the support you have shown the Wisconsin Rapids Kiwanis Club in regards to our annual Coats for Kids Campaign this past Holiday Season.

Due to the generous support of many we are happy to say that many children in our area will be warm again this winter.  Without support from Traditions Cleaners, WYTE, WLJY, WGLX, WBCV and WFHR radio, the Key Clubs from Lincoln High School and Assumption High School, along with the many individuals responsible for filling the bins in the Rapids Mall and Shopko Mall, the Kiwanis Club of Wisconsin Rapids would not have been able to secure over 2,000 coats, and hundreds of hats, mittens, boots and gloves.

Beside the many wonderful donations of quality used coats, we also received numerous new as well as many hand made items for distribution.

Wisconsin Rapids Kiwanis Club has a long tradition of celebrating the Children of our community through various programs and scholarships.  Coats for Kid’s are just one of many.

Citizens of the Greater Wisconsin Rapids area, Thank you, for all you do everyday in life of children and individuals in the area.  Please remember the wonderful businesses that have helped out in this endeavor through the years.  The Wisconsin Rapids Kiwanis Clubs says THANK YOU. And God Bless you for what you do for children in our community.  Keep up the great work.  Happy New Year. (Printed in the Daily Tribune)
